Northridge Elementary Principal's Message

Dear Northridge Elementary Families,

On behalf of the staff of Northridge Elementary, I would like to extend you a warm welcome to our NRE Family!  Our staff has been busy preparing for what will be our final year at Northridge as we anxiously await the opening of our brand new PreK-12 Kenton Ridge Campus! 

As summer is winding down and fall quickly approaches, we are excited for the return of our students, those who have been with us before and those who we have yet to meet.  It is our goal at Northridge Elementary to make school a positive experience for ALL our students, and we are eagerly looking forward to enriching their lives!  As we embark on this new year, we need you, our families, to be positive partners with us in this exciting journey of learning and growth.  We understand the daily complexities and challenges of our community. We understand because we are you. The Northridge family is dedicated to working together as a caring and compassionate learning community, tackling the challenges we all will face with professionalism, teamwork, compassion, and to always putting the students’ best interests at the center of our purpose.

Each year the beginning of the school year brings about the opportunity to start anew, to accomplish new goals, to make this year better than the last.  I want to thank you for making the investment of time in your child's education. As Kofi Annan said, "Knowledge is power. Information is liberating. Education is the premise of progress in every society, in every family."
