Northridge Elementary School Counselor
Mrs. Molly Tonnies
My name is Molly Tonnies, and I am thrilled to be your student's school counselor at Northridge Elementary!
I work with all students in grades K-5. I provide individual, small group, and whole group instruction to help students develop their confidence, social-emotional skills, address academic concerns, and manage stress/anxiety. Not only do I help students with their problems, I also celebrate their achievements and successes with them. I am your student's advocate. I work collaboratively with Mr. Shaffer, the teachers, and district personnel to ensure your student's overall well-being. Here at Northridge, we believe every student is equipped with the skills needed to excel academically and socially in whatever they aspire to be.
A little background: I am originally from Indiana (Go Hoosiers!) and moved to Ohio in 2020. I graduated from Lee University (Cleveland, TN) with my BA in English Literature in 2012 and Creighton University (online, Omaha, NE) with an MS in School Counseling and Preventative Mental Health in 2019. I am married to my husband, Justin, and have two boys, Henry and Gabe. I love being outside doing anything active, traveling, reading, chocolate, and The Avett Brothers.
Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns. You may reach me at the school or via email: email@example.com.
